A little about my job
I work for Fastbooking as a web account manager for the European market. The company is traditionally known for its booking engine, which has recently seen an important increase due to its new website packages. I manage the website creation for the hotels. Our clients are mainly luxury hotels (at least 3 stars.) The focus of our website projects is to increase the conversion rate. We aim to increase the number of bookings by optimizing the web design and content. Fastbooking has over 7, 000 clients and has developed 700 websites and counting.
My most recent projects are: Bertrams Hotel in Copenhagen, Velada hoteles group and Crowne Plaza Madrid in Spain.
A little about my skills
I really enjoy and take pride in my work as a web project manager. The best part is definitely that I get to handle every aspect of the projects. Client relations and working in a team are the most enjoyable parts of a web project because I am a part of all the decisions.
But wait there is more
As a part of a new department, I also work on navigation, content optimization, web marketing, SEO and even web design sometimes... an entertaining job where I learn a bit more everyday about web technologies.
A little about my hobbies
As a web technology addict how could I not enjoy different kinds of web communication? Through a technological blog obviously (I'm 27 so...) about numeric stuffs, and thoughts on the world of the web which is becoming increasingly indispensable in our lives. Unfortunately (or not) this blog is only in French. While I'm thinking of it, I should start a new project about, I don't know, maybe photography, snowboarding, off-road biking, or retro-gaming (I may be a bit geeky by the way).
